Technology makes the inaudible audible and finds leaks Most mechanical faults start out as very small defects or leaks. They emit a high-pitched noise as ultrasonic waves. USX-1 hears ultrasonic noise and converts it to an audible sound via the earphones. You hear what you would expect to hear, not just an electronic noise, so you can detect faults and leaks in time for preventive maintenance.

Its super-heterodyne technology gives USX1 its wide range of diagnostic uses, including the detection of Mechanical Wear :
