International Airshow

The Farnborough International Airshow, is one of the world’s leading aerospace and defence exhibitions, welcoming more than 100,000 visitors and 1,500 exhibitors during the 4 day event. To maintain comfortable conditions across the busy exhibition halls, Cooling Events installed a large temporary air conditioning system throughout the venue.

Solution

More than 300 air conditioning systems from LG Electronics were supplied by Thermofrost Cryo, primarily cassette units alongside Standard Plus and floorstanding models to suit different areas of the exhibition space. Our technical engineers worked closely with the installer to select the most suitable units, ensuring effective cooling for large exhibition areas with high visitor numbers.

Delivering such a large volume of equipment required significant preparation, coordination, and logistics planning. Thermofrost Cryo ensured that all units were selected, supplied, and delivered on schedule, supporting the installation which took place over two to three months ahead of the show. Thermofrost Cryo’s sales team maintained close communication, ensuring the project ran smoothly and all deliveries stayed on schedule.
